How do you create your own themes, plugins?

I’m new to RapidWeaver. I’ve been trying to find documentation on how to create my own themes, and eventually how to create my own plugins. I’ve been doing a lot of googling, and am surprised that I haven’t been able to find much of anything about either topic. Obviously it’s possible, since people are creating and selling add-ons. Can anyone point me to the docs?

linkst to Github. You will need apple developer tools but this should start you off.
