How does one collect Email Addresses on the site for a newsletter?

How are you planning on sending the newsletter? Most folks use an email subscription service like MailChimp or Sendy. Those services often have code snippets, links and buttons to collect this information.
@joeworkman also has a stack set called post office that can help link to many services.

You can but there’s a lot of compliance issues that the service companies can help out with.
- Every email needs an easy opt-out option
- Honor opt-out requests quickly
- Give a physical address
- Tell readers where your email is coming from
Just to name a few and these laws vary from location. Most of the mail services offer free or inexpensive starter accounts.
Hmm, those rules - compliance issues - would be the European ones, have to look into this issue.
@joemart1951 Quicksend looks nice - was it part of your foundation theme or did you set it ‘manually’ (js - script)?
