HTML5 Audio 3.4 and HTML5 Video 4.6 stacks issues - Joe Workman

With previous versions, it was possible to restore sound by clicking on the “Unmute” button.
But hey, the most important thing is done!
Maybe a next update … :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Many thanks to Thang David and JW

Thanks very much Joe!

Unfortunately, I return in this topic …

The HTML5 audio stack works perfectly in all browsers … Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari and the RW8 preview.

But the “Play” and “Mute” buttons of the HTML5 video stack are not visible in Safari and the RW8 preview.
(Ok in Firefox and Google Chrome)
Note that if the audio and video stacks are combined in the same page, both work well … then the buttons are visible in Safari and the RW8 preview!

Sorry Joe Workman,
“On the home straight” for a final video stack update
Hubert

You are sure that you updated and republished all files?

Yes Joe, I use the last HTML video stack (v4.6.2).
Tested also with the 5 examples themes of RW8.7
Stack 4.1.4, on a new project, on a blank page…
As I told you, the problem only occurs on Safari and RW8 preview.
Thank you Joe

The player controls for video were not showing in preview. All fixed. Check for updates.

Now and finally, HTML5 video and audio stacks are perfect.

Thanks for the time Joe you spent with these 8 successive updates. (2 stacks x4)
I also thank you for your indulgence in relation to my tenacity during these last 2/3 weeks.

P.S. I just sent you a private message
