πŸ“‘ Introducing PDF Viewer 3 πŸ“‘

What’s New in Version 3?

PDF Viewer 3 has been rewritten from scratch, Adobe Acrobat is no longer being used, instead the Stack makes use of Google Reader which also makes the embedded PDFs responsive. We also fixed some bugs, made stability improvements and also added a new Stack icon. Compared to v.1 and v.2, v.3 does now include the Sparkle update framework as well, for faster and more secure Stack updates.

**Embed PDF files with ease**

PDF Viewer 3 allows you to easily embed any PDF document on your website with just a few clicks. Simply move the Stack to a free place on your Stacks site, enter the URL of the PDF file you’d like to display, set the width and height of the file to a perfect size and you’re all set. Your visitors can easily browse through the whole document right from your website without having to download it.

**Responsive and lightweight**

Instead of Adobe Acrobat, PDF Viewer 3 makes use of the Google Docs framework, which makes your PDFs responsive and lightweight.

**Edit on the go**

Since the PDF files you embed with PDF Viewer 3 are stored on a webserver of your choice, you can easily modify the file on the go without having to do changes to your RapidWeaver website first.

Give your site even more professionalism by embedding PDF files!

The PDF Viewer 3 Stack requires Stacks v.3.x or later, RapidWeaver v.6.x, 7.x or later and a webserver (can also be a Dropbox account for example) to host the PDF files on. We cannot guarantee compatibility with each and every other 3rd party Stack, plugin and/or theme you’re using our Stacks in combination with. RWtuts is in no way affiliated with Adobe and/or Google.

Such a shame RWtuts had been discontinued. I watched some tutorials and reviews on this thing on Youtube - looks really promising, especially because it was moved from Adobe Acrobat at all. Have you been thinking of an idea to create add-ons for the editing tools like this one https://edit-pdf.pdffiller.com/ for example. Because such things are always focused on editing features but not preview, which quality is close to being far from good
