Make interactive tour

I develop software for macOS. At my Rapidweaver website I have some (boring) screenshots of my app. I want some nicer, more interactive solution.

The easiest solution would be to make some sort of gallery where I add text to a screenshot. This is what I do for the AppStore:

I don’t really like videos because I suck at making them. Videos are terrible when I have to update the interface.

Does anyone have an idea how to make some simple and nice animation type of introduction/tour? Perhaps something where I have active spots which can show more information. Rapidweaver solution preferred but not required.

Use F6 light boxes with a 2-column stack in them, one for the image and one for the text?
