Migration Complication

I migrated from my El Capitain OS to a Big Sur m-chip-powered one and RapidWeaver lost connection to the post illustrations, something like 4000 of them. The resolution tool offered seems to insist upon me individually relocating every link. Might anyone know of an alternate technique? Thanks. David Schmaltz

Do you still have the older Mac available?

If you do, you could open the RapidWeaver project, go into advanced settings and select the site Resources option to Copy into document.

Save the project and try again on the new Mac.

Other than that I know of no other way to get past the issue.

Thank you. I do still have the old mac available. I have been fiddling around and found that I could affect a relink by searching the folder containing the images and reconnecting them. The problem following seems to be that if I quit the application, it does not retain the refreshed links. I had this difficulty intermittently under El Cap, too. Once or twice a week, the app would fail to save and if I didn’t restart the whole computer, it would lose all the links. Restarting it restored the links until the next time. I’d hoped that upgrading to the newer machine might resolve the intermittent link difficulty. Hey! Maybe I just need to restart the NEW machine to find the links automagically restored. I’ll try that and see if that works.

Also, after restoring the links, attempting to republish returned Unable to connect with FTP server messages. Lightening fast! Though when I tested the link, it returned a functioning correctly code. …

Restarting didn’t help. It did, however, erase my earlier resolved links. I checked my Advanced settings and I already had/have Copy Into Document checked. Thanks again for your interest.
