Mobile version not working

(Rudolf Staempfli) #1

Checked out my site on an iPad with Safari and Chrome. With both browsers there is no footer, the menu on the left column is not working, instead of Twitter and Facebook logos you just see an T and an F. Additionally the pages cannot be expanded with the usual gestures on iPad. What can be wrong? The site is fully working on my Mac.

I get the same behaviour on an older windows desktop in both Firefox and Chrome. The Page Inspector shows a couple of javascript errors, but decoding those are beyond my pay grade (though the second one looks fairly self-explanatory).

SyntaxError: unterminated string literal javascript.js:2:8339
SyntaxError: missing } after function body function.js:2:4094

If no one else is able to help, I’d drop Nick Cates a line. I’ve read that he’s onto Cartloom for the most part but he’s always been super responsive with any of my requests in the past

EDIT: I should clarify that when I say ‘same behaviour on an older desktop’ I mean same as your mobile - Menu won’t open and Twitter / Facebook icons not rendering.

Is the Menu button supposed to work? Doesn’t work for me. Safari on Mac.

it works with me on my Mac (OS X 10.11.6. / Theme is Canvas by Nick Cates).
