I have a very basic website that includes an important Contact page:
I am using RapidWeaver 8.9.4. and an old Henkvrieselaar theme “Magnetic”. Everything is fine except the fact that over the past year or two my Contact form seems to be not very secure. Spammers seem able to access the page and send me lots of spam. I believe it’s the built-in RW Contacts page.
I would appreciate suggestions of other perhaps “Add-ons” to replace this page with a more secure one.

This is a very common problem, unfortunately. I blame Realmac for not updating their contact form in years, to include spam protection. I have a lot of websites myself, that use the built-in Rapidweaver contact form, and they have been such a spam magnet disaster, I had to remove the forms via FTP. Now, all these sites of mine, have Contact in their menu, that leads to a 404 page not found error.
My trusted solution over the years has been Formloom. It’s not without its share of faults, but it is very secure. It has never been breached by the subhuman spammers all these years, not even once.
If you have stacks I was using @yabdab formloom but then needed a more flexible solution and I have Stacks plugin so I then got FromSnap from them. I see they are still showing version 3 on formsnap.
Both work a treat and I have been helping beta test formsnap 4 for them.
Anyways all solid products and do the job well.
