Your cause of your issue may mirror the one I posted earlier in the thread. Regrettably, I don’t think the built-in contact form is of much use anymore.

What are you going to do with the built-in contact form page type in RW9 to make the built in contact form useful? How about a field builder with validation rules? I bet all those vanilla RW users would really appreciate it.
