I recently moved my RW site and associated Add-ons folder onto a Sandisk Extreme SSD because I needed to work on the site from multiple computers. I’ve tried Dropbox before and it no longer works. It can’t manage the large number of files updating so frequently. The portable SSD seemed like a much better solution.
When I publish now I’m getting an error in the publish dialog… “The file “._Contents.plist” couldn’t be opened because you don’t have permission”. I’ve checked in the Get Info window and that file inside the RW site file does have read and write permission set.
The updated files appear to continue publishing without any problem. However the fact that RW is trying to open the ._Contents.plist file and unable to do so concerns me.
Any ideas on what is happening here and how to correct it?
