Problem with Sitemap plus, cannot export, is there an alternative?

Sitemap plus does not work anymore, here is what happens:

This is a known issue.

The current version is 3.1.0. Install the latest version and you should be OK.

Having said that, there might be an issue with Sitemap Plus and the latest RW beta. RapidWeaver 8.2 Public Beta 1 (20697b) — UPDATED BUILD

I have the latest version with I reinstalled anyway, in order to export and publish I have enable Rapidweaver sitemap and disabled sitemap plus in preference, but I am not entirely sure what bitmap from RapidWeaver is able too do

I’ve just added Sitemap Plus to one of my test RW8 projects and it published ok.

The built in sitemap function that you select in advanced settings will build the sitemap.xml file used by most search engines like google. The sitemap it builds contains the pages that are included in navigation.

I am very happy with a .xmlsitemap, but this does not solve my problem with sitemap plus; this is a very good stack, but if it does not work anymore is there something to replace it?
may be Isaac can help with this one

@isaiah is aware of the issues with the current versions of Sitemap. He is working with Realmac to get a fix out as soon a possible.

I think the latest non-beta version of stemapPlus works with the latest non-beta version of RapidWeaver.

Are you running the beta version of RapidWeaver?

If so you may want to back up to the last production version of RapidWeaver (8.1.7) and try that with the latest production of sitemap Plus.

yep, I checked in the preferences, and beta updates was ticked, so my version of RapidWeaver is Version 8.2 (20703b) I hope the crash info I copied on this thread is some help for Isaac, and we get an update soon; sitemap plus us such a useful stack, I hope it is updated and keep on going

i’ll try to finalize the release versions to the general public before the beta testing is done. at the time of this post RW 8.2 is in beta 3 – but beta 3 has some issues with plugins currently. i will probably wait until those are resolved before finalizing these changes.

however – if you’re using 8.2 at all, i think these beta versions of SiteMap and PlusKit should work fine.

Update: I released Sitemap v3.1.1 PlusKit v4.1.5 – both should auto-update if you are running a recent version. If you have trouble with the update, you can always just go to http://yourhead.com and download the latest version by clicking the Download button and install in the regular way.
