Over the last day or so, I have had a really bad experience with the SiteMap Plus stack. It seems that there is a compatibility problem with latest update to RapidWeaver 8.1.
The developer has acknowledged that there is a problem. They say they are working to correct it.
We posted a fix to this as a beta about a week ago – less than 24 hours after the report of the issue. We posted about that to a few related threads here on the forum too.
And we posted the update at Jan 23rd, 7:00pm CST right before I ate dinner. My wife started sending out replies to that effect after we finished dinner and homework with the kids. That was about 24 hours ago and about 12 hours prior to your post here.
I’m guessing you must have gotten one of the very last “we’re still working on it” messages she sent out. Sorry about that. But the good news is that it’s all fixed now.
If you’re interested in this whole beta thing, we always post our betas to our Slack channel:

And if you want to follow along with bug fixes or even post a bug without going through support email, we have a public bug tracker here:

If you have any other old LogHound plugins you should download new versions from YourHead. With the exception of our big PlusKit 4 upgrade a couple years ago, we just try to maintain these, give them any little updates they might need, and help out the old customers for LogHound. We lose money on the deal, but I think it’s a benefit to keep the RW strong.
A lot of people seem to really like this plugin, maybe it’s time we did the big overhaul on this one too. I should start a kickstarter or something.
