Publishing setup for a test site

Hi everyone. This is probably a dumb question/easy fix but I keep getting error messages.

I’m working on my own site. I currently have a placeholder page up that just says ‘website coming soon’. I’d like to publish the one I’m working on in a subfolder. So, example.com would be my placeholder, and then example.com/test would be the test site.

I’m with in Motion and the path path for my site is supposed to be public_html

So my question is:
What do I add to the path to publish it to a ‘test’ folder?
What do I list in my rapidweaver general settings for my address: example.com or example.com/test?

  1. public_html/test/
  2. example.com

(although both example.com and example.com/test should work in the general settings)

Thanks! That worked. I swear that was the first combo I tried but I must have had a typo or something.
