🎉 RapidWeaver 7.2 Now Available!

Eric,
RapidWeaver is a great product.
The App Store is what you are having the issue with. There is a delay on most software in getting updates pushed out due to Apple and there approval process.

If you get your refund from Apple I would recommend you still give RapidWeaver a go, but get it directly from realmac .

There are benefits to getting the App from the MAS as well, look at the purchase page of RapidWeaver on the Realmac website, and see if you can find it:

Hi Eric, I think you might be correct. I thought it might be possible to update RW through the programme itself, but probably not though if bought through the app store.

I would advise sticking with RW though. Once the update appears on the app store, you should be good to go and create amazing websites.

Good luck

I’ve been able to move to RW 7.2.1 last week: some projects blocked me on 6.0.4 because of missing plugins updates.
It is such a good step forward!!! Rock solid and fast!!

Thanks for the update. Since installing it, I have still found the publishing window sometimes refuses to go away when publishing is complete. I’ve published several times since the update and the problem has happened once. It happened quite often in RW7.1.x too.

Please help! Many issues by now: I’ve updated to 7.2.1 (18493) and lot of problems comings. A site made only with Foundry and RWML stacks works perfectly before RW last update. At this moment, after many attempts by reloading files to server, single and total stacks changes, the site results invisible to any browser I’ve tried to use.
Any suggestions to solve it?

@masterg7 Can you share your project file in a PM so I can have a look at your case. Some people are still using RWML in “pluskit mode” instead of the recommended partials setup. I can recommend using the latest pluskit 4 beta if that is the case with RW 7.2

In this beta of PlusKit you need to enable the import for Stack pages in PlusKit > Configure > Import > Stacks

Thanks for reply. After further checks of those files, I’ve found an error due to Foundry’s form stack. It writes a bad php code, generating an error connected to italian’s language accented letters, or words with apostrophe (like é/è, un’altra etc.) inserted into error description for form fields.
I solved it changing text and removing those words and now everything seems to work fine ;-). Obiouvsly could be a good thing if somebody will notice about this issue the Foundry team.

It helps to notify the developer by using their forum name - in this case, @Elixir - so they get an electronic nudge.

@masterg7: Special characters like é or è should not be a problem. As to not derail this thread from its original purpose – if you send me an email (adam at elixirgraphics dot com) with details of the problem you’re experiencing, along with a ZIP file containing your project file, I can take a look at it.
