I’m having a really senior moment people.
I’m sure that in the past if I wanted to check out a website and what keywords they were using, I would go into the source and do a search with ‘keyword’, and all of the keywords would show up, but more often than not now nothing shows up. Should I be searching with the term ‘metatag’ instead? Or something else?
A lot of websites no longer use keywords. Google hasn’t paid any attention to them for years, but some other search engines do.
You could search for the “description” instead which will bring up the phrase/words that they are looking to rank for. Otherwise, pay attention to the H1 and the browser title which will contain the most important info.
