Hello @YuzoolSupport@scottjf@Geo@yuzool - I have just created a new product in STRIPE in the hope of receiving an SKU number to input into the Yuzool Checkout 2 stack. At the moment STRIPE is not presenting me with an ‘SKU’ number and instead I am presented with number starting with the term ‘PRICE’. Has anyone had experience of this ??
Do I need to be patient and wait a while for STRIPE to generate this correct code - or does Yuzool Checkout 2 stack need an update to reflect the fact that the STRIPE now no longer generates an SKU ( see the attached screenshot of what I use to get - but now no longer get )
Any help and/or advice would be appreciated. Kind Regards | Justin
Let me check with Michael on this - that area is his expertise and will get back to you. May take a little bit since it is weekend and Michael’s been tied up on another project. Kind regards,
We have Michael’s response with an attachment as well. Can you forward me your email address? Or email us at support@yuzoolthemes.com? Thank you and kind regards,
Hello Sydney - I have just sent you my email address yo support@yuzoolthemes.com as requested. Tell me, why are you not willing to share the solution to this problem on the forum ? Isn’t the whole point of the forum to take a collective approach to resolving some of the technical challenges that we experience when using RapidWeaver ? Kind Regards | Justin
Of course, but if it is just user error, we don’t want to make anyone look bad as well. But if it is our error, then we certainly want to let the community know and provide them a solution. Firstly though, we want to make sure we are all on the same page. Also, we usually like to ask for their rapidweaver file so we can test the problem as well. Furthermore, as far as we can tell, there is not way to include attachment which in your case, is the checkout 2 manual to make sure you followed the right steps to set up the stack. Kind regards,
After much searching, emails between the STRIPE support team and a bit of head scratching it would appear that STRIPE no longer supports the creation of an SKU ID as it use to, to allow the RapidWeaver user to include this info into Checkout 2 stack from Yuzool ( as directed by the Checkout 2 manual ) . The reason is because STRIPE now see’s this as an ‘old product’. From now on all requests have to be done manually and hence the reason why I and others struggled to get this stack to work as advertised. The question for me is do I continue to use Checkout 2 ?? Can anyone point me to any other stack within the RapidWeaver ecosystem that will support this new way of working in STRIPE ?? Kind Regards | Justin
