View Site From Back End

OK, sorry, I know that doesn’t sound good, but I have been asked if I can show the back end of my site to a web developer who uses Wordpress. This is exactly what I was asked “The guys that run our website would really like to see yours from the back end, prior to exporting.” Can I do that with RW? I think they’re asking to have access to my FTP. That I can’t do. Is there a way to show them the HTML pages?

Yes - if just seeing the raw HTML is all they want. they can simply ‘View Source’ in their browsers.

I suspect your web developer thinks that Rapidweaver works like WordPress but of course it doesn’t. There isn’t a ‘back-end’ as such, so there’s nothing to see.

The Project file won’t make any sense without Rapidweaver but if they want to look at the code, then @MarkSealey is right - they can just view the website. Or you can export the whole thing locally, zip it up and send it to them.

But like I say, I suspect they think RW works like WP.

@robbeattie ans @MarkSealey, Thanks for the helpful info.

Perhaps some screenshots of the RW project… if you do make sure you black out any sensitive info…
