…but it seems that the cart system subscription has lapsed. Does anyone know how to get in touch with Brandon? The “Contact Us” form on his website is also broken. It seems he hasn’t been active in awhile, but the themes still look fantastic.

I don’t think they are developing for the RW ecosystem any longer. A forum thread seems to suggest that Brandon Lee still in business?
It is, but you need to check the box underneath the field for your email address.

That thread is too old (2021). But all signs seem to indicate that he’s no longer working. IMO that doesn’t mean I can’t make good use of a beautiful theme though.

When you click the SEND or the CAPTCHA area, it links to porno sites. Maybe his site was hacked into?
Yeah, because there was a period of a couple years we moved forums to a new software, so there is a gap in forum activity here between 2022 until 2024. Here’s another comment from back in 2020 though talking about the same thing.
People asked this on the other forum too, the answer was the same, Brandon Lee is no longer developing or supporting themes for the RW ecosystem.
I’d disagree, there are a lot of talented and active theme developers here in the RW community that offer great support. I’d personally rather spend money with them instead of on themes that have been abandoned, regardless how “beautiful” they look.
And you still want to buy themes from their website?

I’m a sucker for great design, but you’re 100% right… even without the broken website, it’s a bad idea to implement an old product that isn’t being supported anymore.
Wonder if y’all could tell me your favorite (currently operating) theme makers these days? I’m heading to Michael David now, but curious about others.
OMG, Michael David is no longer making things anymore either. What happened to the Rapidweaver ecosystem?
Is it that the idea of themes is, in itself, a little bit outdated? I’m very short on time and a little nervous to start something from the ground up.
Themes are great for those who don’t have the time to build something from the ground up, or for those who are talented in areas other than website design. There’s still a place for themes in 2024.
There are some themes in the Marketplace you can check out. Sadly not every theme developer has posted their themes there. @curiouschuck has/had a great list of third-party themes/addons. I meant to copy it from the old forum before we switched back over to this one, but I can’t seem to find it.

One more thought that I’m sure y’all will agree with. The absence of Nick Cates, Brandon Lee, and Michael David, is sorely felt. There are far fewer themes available today than there were 5 years ago
