When I publish my project it sometimes uploads thousands of files

this happens quite frequently although randomly. I can make a very small change (size of a component box for example) and sometimes it will publish 1 file (nice and quickly) and other times 3,000 files (not so quickly)

on RWC and Sequoia 15.0.1

any suggestions?

also it then hangs so I have to restart RWC

It’s like creating a partial but it’s external one, reusable between different projects.
