Where can I find a super simple theme that uses the full screen rather than having big margins to accommodate iPads and iPhones?

I am using RapidWeaver6 with stacks, blocks, and Foundation.
Or can I used stacks without a theme??

@MarthaL

You are using already such a Theme, Foundation. You need no other theme.

You’ll always need a theme, with or without stacks. A theme is the surface / appearance of your website.

Yup, @Oscar is right, if you want your content to go full screen (or what I am guessing you mean, full browser with), you can do that with Foundation, setting in the Site Styles Stack

And remember those “big margins” are just limits for the site foreground content in columns. You can still have the background colours or images full width.

If you just put a Text or Paragraph stack on the page in Foundation it will go full width by default. It is only the columns that limit you to the defined site width BUT, text without a max width constraint looks awful on a large desktop display as it will tend to just one very long and unreadable line. Similarly foreground images will become enormous.

Or take this one:

Not sure why he would buy Bootsnap when he already has Foundation?!?[quote=“MarthaL, post:1, topic:5290”]

  1. the Bootsnap theme is free.

  2. why not? He just asks what he can use. And Bootsnap from @yabdab is actually quite nice but sometimes forgotten.

But of course the Foundation theme is also free :slightly_smiling:

  1. So is Foundation

  2. He has the Foundation theme and stacks (I assume) and what he asks can be done with what he has. Why have him go get something else even if it is free.

It is all about options.

I see I should keep my mouth shut in future for not interfering in your Foundation discussions…

Understand options, and I present them (search my posts) but when a person specifically states they have a theme, why push them off on another, why not try to help them use the theme they have?

Thank you, Oscar and Zeebe and Instacks. Now how do I access the Site Styles Stack. I’m sorry, but I am a real newbie.

Did you just download the theme or did you purchase the stacks too? Do you have the Stacks Plugin?

Create a new project/page with the plugin Stacks, open the stacks library, then you can drag your stacks in the page.

… and you can play with RapidWeaver.
You can try everything, nothing gets broken
But, create first test projects, later a “real” project.
