Hello,
I’m going to upgrade Foundation to 6.
Have I understand right that the new version of Seo Helper will work even on other templates?
Is it included in the upgrade with foundation 6 or now is a new stack apart…?
SEO Helper 2 is not included as part of Foundation 6.
I use SEO Helper with Foundation 1 and Foundation 6, but I have no experience of using it with other templates.
It works fine with Foundry for me
I think the new SEO helper is independent of Foundation, so it should work with most anything.
I used SEO Helper with UIKit and it worked fine.
SEO Helper 2 is it’s own independent product. It will work in any theme. In fact, all of my products (outside of Foundation) will work in any theme.
Bought yesterday. I have to learn how to use it, but I have some issue with errors 404 that I don’t understand: I have apparently identical pages, but one generate 404 error and not the other…
I do not include seo helper because I have to uncheck the Robot Txt and social tag, but please, Joe could you me explain why only 2 pages in this list generate the error in Facebook links and no one in Linkedin?
https://www.automobilitygreen.it/OPEL-CORSA-e/ No error
https://www.automobilitygreen.it/PEUGEOT-e-208/ error 404
I’m guessing you are talking about the 404 Facebook is giving you? The Links above are okay in them selfs.
Somewhere in your project, you have added the OG metadata tags. It doesn’t appear to be the ones RapidWeaver generates, although I can’t say for sure as I don’t have the WeaverTheme “shift” theme you are using.
Anyway, you need to find out where they are coming from, as FaceBook is having an issue with the tags.
Here is what the og:url tag looks like in one of the above pages:
<meta property="og:url" content="http://www.automobilitygreen.it/AUTO%20ELETTRICHE//PEUGEOT-e-208/index.html">
Look at the content The address is set at http://www.automobilitygreen.it/AUTO%20ELETTRICHE//PEUGEOT-e-208/index.html
%20
= blank. and you have a double forward slash //
.
Now RapidWeaver 8’s SEO tag occurs right at the top of the head section, so I don’t think these og:tags are coming from RW8. The twitter tags are the same.
Both URL’s above have the same issue with Facebook’s Developer sharing debugger.
So where are these social meta tags coming from? Are you using some other SEO tools? What have you pasted if anything into the head section?
Do you have the website URL inside the project settings and the publishing setting properly set?
Many Thanks Guys, Thanks to Doug Bennet because I have found that part of the issue was generated by

that say to edit the .htaccess file … How…? .htaccesfile is now this: RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://www.automobilitygreen.it/$1 [R=301,L]
