Apparently the Galery3 from Instack and Popdrop from Big White Duck don’t like each other. Neither combination of grid/lightbox works properly within Popdrop. A solution is very welcome
Using Gallery Stack in other container stacks like accordions or tabs only works if the respective stacks is able to wait for the content to be loaded. So, no solution from my side unfortunately.
You can try checking the Allow Multiple Triggers checkbox in the PopDrop advanced settings, this may help as the content will not be moved after the page loads.

Thanks Jannis and Andrew for your quick reaction. In the popdrop stack I lowered the z-index from its standard 9999 to 1000 and that solved the problem. Apparently Gallery3 was launched but not visible.
