Help publishing an update

Make sure you clear the Path field before clicking the browse button. If you don’t have a valid path in it, you will get an error when you try to browse.

Thanks not very obvious, just done that and having another go!

Eurika! I have now set the path and RW has backed up to Zen

BUT I have amended a caption on one page and even after making it as changed when I got to the web its not showing the correct caption.

I have tried refreshing the browsers but no joy

Am I looking at the wrong path??

Did you try clearing the browsers cache?

Safari ⌥Opt+⌘ Cmd+E

You could also try a different browser or device.

Nuts! I pointed to the wrong level so have reset the path and uploading now.

Should I delete the files in the wrong folder? If so how? Via the cPanel or is it wisest to leave alone!

Yes tried that but silly boy I discovered that I had set the wrong path and uploaded the pages to a deeper folder

Currently uploading to /data01/c0007909/public_html

Twiddling thumbs - hope it works

The Photo Album plugin slows down the process and I would love to find a replacement but with similar function

Thanks everybody for taking the time to help I only wanted to correct ONE spelling mistake on one image….

Pretty much everything being developed in RapidWeaver today is using the Stacks plugin. There are several 3rd party stacks that do a gallery like that (only better). But they all would require the Stacks 4 plugin.

OK I will look not that suggestion

OK - thanks for your help everyone. Site now up and posted. I managed to FTP into the server and delete the misplaced folder with Cyberduck

Now must pursue the replacement for the Photo Album - I have Stacks but not the latest and would need some guide in how to use it to replicate my picture albums - a pointer in the right direction and maybe a sample page to get me going would help but thats enough for now.

What version do you have?

Did you update the theme you are using?

Here are a couple to look at:
Gallery 3 (Stacks 4 needed)
Pro Gallery (I think this one will still work with Stacks 3, There is a free demo to try before you buy).

There are a few others but this should give a starting point, then ask questions from there.

Thanks I will look at those tomorrow…
