Hey Weavers!
Just curious:
what do you think about infusionsoft.com?
Can campaigns be achieved in RW without infusionsoft? Is there anything comparable to infusionsoft?
Thanks for your support…

For the life of me I can’t understand why someone hasn’t made a stack that transforms Rapidweaver into an html email designer.
I seem to recall that Joe Workman used something that allowed you to send emails via Amazon s3 or something?
Hopefully soon cleverer than I will chime in…
There will be a solution of Joe Workman for this very soon!
(design, not sending the campaigns).
I use rapidmail http://rapidmail.com for any e-mail campaigns…
The free MJML App from Mailjet, is very impressive. It will look like you need to learn how to code, but by using one of the built in Templates, and spending an hour or 2, you can figure out what to cut and paste to build the Template you want. The template can then be exported as HTML to paste straight into Mailchimp or other email system. You don’t need to understand the code but just cut and paste the correct chunks of code to create your layout.
Mail Designer Pro 3 - integrates perfectly with MailChimp and other mailers. http://maildesigner.equinux.com/en/mail-designer-pro-3/
Thank you for all the responses.
After reviewing all the links I see nothing can compare with the IF / THEN campaign functions of infusionsoft. I was just curious. No wonder it starts at $200 per month.
if what you want is mainly the mail features have a look at Drip
wow! Cool! Thanks for sharing. They even have a comparison chart with infusionsoft there.
InfusionSoft is a horribly complex beast that I would not recommend to anyone. Look into Drop or ConvertKit. I use Sendy, you can do list segmentation in it. However, its not as automated as the paid services.
Thanks for joining in Joe! I couldn’t find anything when I searched for drop.com. Did you mean drip?
But I like how ConvertKit says “The power of Infusionsoft, but easier to use than MailChimp.” That’s really interesting!
So, Sendy looks like a good option b/c it’s a fraction of the cost of the other monthly services. I’d would need to try it out and see if you can do the IF / THEN campaigns (I guess you call them automated).
Infusionsoft does look too complicated and that’s why I wanted to ask on the forum for alternatives.
thanks again for the guidance.
I too use Mail Designer Pro 3 + Sendy Discount I love the ease of use of both. I paid the extra fee to have them install it within my Amazon server.
Does the $59 sendy create the html email for you? I’m just wondering why you need Mail Designer Pro 3 as well. I had Mail Designer Pro 1 and it was absolutely shocking - I could probably have coded something better myself. And I can barely add up!
It does have an email builder but it is quite basic. Here’s a screenshot of the WYSIWYG editor.
Mail Designer Pro 3’s engine was recently rebuilt from scratch so that it’s 100% compatible with ALL versions of Outlook
. MDP3 does have a learning curve but once you get one layout done, you can save it as a template for future email campaigns. I use it because it ensures that everyone will see my design just as I intended it to look.
You could wait a little bit and design emails with RapidWeaver. Joe should have this done soon.
Excited for this - I could see non-RW’ers coming onboard JUST for this. cc @zeebe
I use Klaviyo https://www.klaviyo.com. You can build a template very fast that is nice and responsive and then export it over in html. We use with Sendy and have been very pleased with the results. You don’t even need the paid version of Klaviyo to do this - a free account works fine.
Its really nice and friendly but powerful too just like RW
Just thought I would post this little teaser
Nice! Thanks for the information.
I think that people should also take a look at this thread - http://forums.realmacsoftware.com/t/new-mailing-list-regs-start-soon-take-action-now/13418/14
