Would it be possible to database the elements so the inspector user interface reloads as it was when you left it. It would be great to pickup where you left off by having the selection you had open be visible without having to find the dropdown and reopen what you need. Having the inspector setup per page would be great!
I think that adding this feature it will have covered all use cases.
