Issues withe Map 2 staxks Doobox

Hello,
I put a Google map with Map2 from Doobox.
I created the API key and I entered the code in the dedicated location in Map2, and the address in “location”.
The plan appears correctly when I do a check with “preview page in Firefox”, but when I publish the site, the plan is displayed half a second and a message appears "Small problem … An error occurred Google Maps did not load correctly on this page For more technical information on this error, please consult the JavaScript console. "

I have no idea where the problem comes from (the site is in https)
Help, please!
Paule

You will need to give us a URL to check what might be going on.

Google isn’t liking the api key:

Geocoding Service: This API project is not authorized to use this API. For more information on authentication and Google Maps JavaScript API services please see: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

Might have a look at this post:

Thank you.
I guess I only have to write to Doobox… because I do not know how to replace their key with mine.

You just need to go back to the google console and enable geocoding api for the key you created:

https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/geocoding

The other non defined error in the page normally means you have not enabled billing at google for the key either.

Thank you so much

The Google Maps thing became such a pain that I now use InStacks’ OpenStreetMap stack for all maps.

Oh thank you! I will watch
It’s not too difficult to use?

OpenStreetMap? No. It uses latitude and longitude for the location but there are plenty of free web sites that will convert a post code or zip code into L&L

thank you
