While traveling in the U.S. I got an email from a client. Turns out she couldn’t make a purchase from my RapidCart Pro store. Following the link to the store the only thing loading was the header as part of the theme. (Mirage). The actual place where the store should appear was just white space.
Anyone else have this issue? Code seems to be uploading fine, I even added the page to another site and it worked. I can’t get it to work there, and my host claims they aren’t blocking anything.
I got the same thing as you did. My suggestion is to delete the relevant pages from your site and then republish all pages to see if that solves the issue.
Did you delete the pages on the server? That has to be done manually, RW will not delete pages off of the server, it will only overwrite pages. If there is a file in the server that interferes with your current code it needs to be manually deleted from the server.
If you have an index.html and an index.php page, the index.php page will never be shown to the user.
@keithnteri I not only deleted the previous installation via FTP, I went so far as to create new directories and install it again there (and removing the previous installation) in the event the original installation folder had been courrupted or blacklisted by my webhost.
RW 8. Running the beta. With Rapidcartpro you need to be running the latest version. It wasn’t supported when RW 8 came out but they put out an upgrade that supports RW 8 very quickly
I didn’t upgrade this particular site to RW8 until the RapidCart Pro upgrade came out for that reason. I didn’t expect them actually put out an update at all.
Once the update was out, I made the change and everything was fine until Sunday. Are you running the beta for stacks as well?
I’m currently running the latest version of RapidCart Pro and 8.0.3.
