Fabulous. I’ve been waiting for this and I’ll be connecting on Tuesday so that I can upgrade. I’ve learned a lot through your excellent videos. Please may I ask that you do new ones to keep them up to date for RapidWeaver 8.

It’s on the roadmap but will not be part of the initial RW8 release.

As far as I know, it’s not currently compatible, I have no idea why it’s not, as every other plugin that worked in RW7 is working great in RW8.
In the meantime, you could look at another online store solution like Ecwid:

Hopefully, we’ll hear soon from the guys at RapidCart Pro on what their plan is.

Having just bought RapidCart Pro, this is obviously disappointing. I’d like to know what the plan is as well.
