I have not updated a RW generated site on Hostgator in years. Should I launch the app. then, update or should I launch the old file first.
I’m not sure what you are asking here. Are you planning on upgrading to RW8?
What version of MacOS you are running?
I don’t know if RW5 will run (or how well) with the latest MacOS releases.
Since RW5 a lot has changed both in RapidWeaver and in web development. Chances are the theme you used back then may not be supported any longer and isn’t going to be responsive(for mobile).
You might be better off upgrading and starting fresh rather than trying to convert the old project files.
