Looking for ideas for good themes to use in constructing family website with genealogical info and charts?
IMHO most themes would do the job. Is there anything specific you need the theme to be able to do?

I agree with Rob. One requirement: your theme has to be responsive (almost all themes are responsive nowadays).
I have a genealogical site that, originally, I’ve built with a theme from ThemeFlood. I am now rebuilding it with Foundry to have a bit more control over my design, but the original theme was quite sufficient (in fact, it had many features that I haven’t even used).
To get as much flexibility as you want, make sure to get Stacks plugin and then pick some stacks for specific purposes.
