Webdeersign Project 4 Sections Foundation project now available

RapidProject4 (PR4) is now available.

PR4 is a complete website solution using RapidWeaver with Foundation Stacks. However, this site should really be called a Sections Foundation site. This project uses the recently released new SectionsPro and the incredible SectionsBox stack set. Within PR4 are several example of animations composed of multi animated elements all made possible with Sections. Never before have these type of layouts been possible using RapidWeaver. Section based animation and positioning needs understanding and time spent to fully realise these type of layouts, so we have already done the work for you. Just add your text or image content or copy and paste these layouts into your designs.

This project also uses a unique navigation using TopBar but is split into 2 halves with a central positioned central logo that overhangs the navigation bar, yet slides out, almost out of view when the page scrolls. This is also possible with the mobile sized TopBar to overhang the mobile navigation area.

PR4 has been designed to be CMS or Blog Ready - to allow easy insertion of your CMS or Blog of choice if you need to. E.g. By swapping out the “Blog” content with your PulseCMS or TotalCMS macro a blog can be setup and match the rest of the site. Similarly adding CMS content can be just as easy.

As with all of the Webdeersign Projects & Templates, there is:

  • An additional Font Example page to assist choosing the best of Google Fonts - also FontPro ready
  • All images, icons, backgrounds, etc., packaged as a warehouse folder
  • Documentation inside project file
  • Includes complete PADDY stack suite

Use the discount code PADDY to get 20% off, making PR4 available now for $20. See full details at RapidWeaver SOURCE Projects Foundation Templates Foundry Templates.

Looks very nice.

Thinking about purchasing for an upcoming project.

I notice the images are quite large… (project is quite resource heavy overall)
Do you suggest a similar image size for people using this project?
I generally keep large hero images like these to 1500px.

Cheers for your ears.

Th large BG images used are 2560px for desktop and 1280 images are then used for Tablet sized screens and below. I Use big images which allows users to tailor to the size they want. Going down from 2560 to 1500 will be a big reduction in size.

Also some of the images that are blurred could be smaller but I have to leave them large and crisp for users who may use a different effect.

One other thing is that all image stacks are warehouse ready and that would further speed it up.

I would highly recommend the JPEGmini App which will resize and optimise to whatever size you want. Set it to 1500, drop all big images in and you are done.
