Yummy FTP Pro website offline

Hi all,

For uploading my Rapidweaver projects I’m using Yummy FTP Pro. I was searching for information about a 64 bit macOS Catalina version of Yummy FTP Pro but if I visit their site the message " HOSTING ACCOUNT EXPIRED" is popping up. Does anyone has information about the status of this developer and this application?

Thanks

Jeu

I heard that the developer passed away. Don’t know what the future is going to be if any.

Yummy FTP will stop working on macOS Catalina due to the use of 32-bit components. The creator of the app, Jason Downing, died suddenly last year, according to a message posted by his family on his Twitter account.
Nobody seems to have resumed the development of this FTP client. The app has been removed from the App Store and its website is offline.

I’m sorry to hear that Jason Downing passed away. I didn’t know that. Thanks for your replies.

I don’t know how this will work but the executable has both 32 bit and 64 bit support

Kara % file Yummy\ FTP
Yummy FTP: Mach-O universal binary with 2 architectures: [x86_64:Mach-O 64-bit executable x86_64] [i386:Mach-O executable i386]
Yummy FTP (for architecture x86_64): Mach-O 64-bit executable x86_64
Yummy FTP (for architecture i386): Mach-O executable i386

Thanks for this tip.

Did you finally solve the problem? This is the best FTP app for MacOS I’ve ever tried.

oh man! how sad… hope family is ok and all this end fast.
