@nikf
I have a strange problem with: OSX 10.11, RW 6.3.4 or 6.3.5 Beta, Stacks 3
The Page inspector does not open when selecting the (i) icon. Neither when I am in a RW only page like Mardwown, or in a Stacks page, as both have an (i) icon for opening the page inspector.
Funny thing: It worked today until I restarted OSX.
I don’t see any error in the console. Any idea?
@instacks - i find this is usually that there is not enough space for it to open. Try temporarily making the window bigger or (if that’s not possible) hiding the Source List (the list of pages) and Stacks Library to give it some extra space.
I have experienced two issues with version 6.3.5 (both reproducible):
In Stacks 3 the update mechanism somehow doesn’t work anymore. The search for updates goes much faster than before, but doesn’t find any updates. When turning back to 6.3.4 everything’s back to normal again and updates come dropping in again.
With one project I experienced that both edit mode and preview mode do look very strange (wrong fonts, missing pictures etc.). See screenshots here: https://db.tt/74ImPzgQ
Just a quick not that we’re aware of an issue w/build 15097 where site-wide code is not generated in RW’s Preview mode. We’ll (obviously) get this addressed in the next beta.
After re-storing the file, the thumbnail is back with a project (tesla-banner). the project Tesla shows only very briefly the thumbnail, then it disappears immediately.
I’ve upgraded to version 6 ok. When I open my old .rwsw file the message says “New RapidWeaver Project Created” with some other text but the pages in the resultant project file are blank apart from the template information. All context has gone. I tried the latest beta available from the forums in case that solved the problem but not. Each time I open an old .rwsw file it ‘converts’ ok but the output has zero content. It does keep all the pages with their titles - just the content is blank whether views in Edit or Preview model. Hope you can help !
Could you confirm which version of RW you’re using (the build # is in the About window)? A project file would be very helpful in figuring out what’s going on…
